Somewhere between lost and found 🐣

We often look at others and feel envy, comparing our own lives to their seemingly perfect ones. But this words reminds us that we only see the surface. Behind every smile, every success, and every possession, there may be struggles, pain, and heartache that no one else knows about.

Instead of envy, we should feel compassion. When we see someone with a blessing, our first thought should be to pray that Allah (SWT) multiplies that blessing and makes it a source of good for them. For all we know, that might be their only source of joy in a difficult life.

Most importantly, we must trust in Allah's divine decree (قدر Qadr). What is truly meant for us will come to us, and no one can take it away. Conversely, what is not meant for us will never be ours, no matter how much we desire it. This trust frees us from the burden of envy and allows us to focus on our own journey and gratitude for the blessings we do have.

May Allah protect our hearts from the disease of envy. Help us to see the blessings in others as a sign of his generosity, not a cause for sorrow. Teach us to pray for others and to trust in Your perfect plan for our own lives. Make us among the grateful and the righteous. Allahumma Ameen 🤲🏻🤍
