🍩 Feel Good Friday! 🤎
A big thank you to the lovely Joanne for surprising our team with these delicious donuts!
Definitely not helping our waistlines… but far too delicious to say no to! 😂🍩
We really are lucky to be surrounded by such a thoughtful and generous community.
Happy Friday from the Picton Eyecare team! 🤎

😊 How was your last eye test?

Did your optometrist take the time to explain what they were seeing and answer your questions?
At Picton Eyecare, we believe an eye test shouldn’t feel rushed.
And yes… there’s usually time for a laugh or two along the way! 😄
Because good eye care should feel personal. 💜

💙 How gorgeous does Shelley from Appin Dental Surgery look in her new electric blue Humphrey’s frame! 💙
We absolutely love this pop of colour on her — bold, vibrant and the perfect choice to brighten up any day. 👓✨

👀 Gaming, YouTube, Netflix… school holidays can quickly become screen-time holidays! 🎮📱

Screens are part of life, but young eyes need a break too. Encourage kids to get outdoors, ride a bike, kick a ball or simply spend some time looking away from screens. ☀️

School holidays are just around the corner, it’s perfect time to tick an eye test off the list. Children don’t always realise when they’re not seeing clearly, so regular checks are important — even when there are no obvious signs.

🤝 Working together for better patient care.

Our optometrist, Nandita, had the pleasure of visiting the wonderful team at Wollondilly Medical Centre.

Building strong relationships with our local GPs helps ensure our community receives the best possible care. By working together, we can provide timely referrals, co-manage eye conditions such as red eyes and eye infections, and see patients quickly for urgent concerns like foreign body removal.

At Picton Eyecare, we're proud to work alongside our local healthcare providers to make quality eyecare more accessible for our community. 💙

👀 Did you know your optometrist can do much more than check your vision?

Optometrists are trained to detect, diagnose and manage many eye conditions using specialised equipment and can also prescribe eye drops.
So if your eye is red, sore, watery, painful, sensitive to light, injured or has something stuck in it — come and see your optometrist.
At Picton Eyecare, our optometrist Nandita is therapeutically endorsed and can assess and manage many urgent eye concerns. 👁️💙
