Answer:

If I had a dollar for every time someone showed me their inspo pic asking for natural but it wasn't natural it was neutral... I'd be very wealthy lol.

Just because an image has browns and gold with a n**e lip doesn't make it a natural look. This is neutral toned makeup and can be anything from soft glam to full glam.

A natural makeup look consists of light washes of colour, minimal lashes, skin like finishes and minimalistic etc.

Answer:

Underpainting is a technique of applying makeup.

I personally am obsessed with under painting. It gives a beautiful natural look. Essentially, instead of creating multiple layers of makeup, its only one.

You use all cream products.
You mark out your contour, blush, highlighter, concealer first. Anywhere that there isn't any product you pop your foundation. Then you blend it all in together. I like to work with like area's. So, all the contour, all the highlighter, all the blush etc. and do the foundation last to create a seamless blend.

Trials are not only good for seeing how makeup looks work with your features. It's great to see how the makeup wears throughout the day/night. It's important to take photos throughout the day and create a little journal of observations to report back to your MUA to see if they need to tweak anything.

Aside from the obvious points of why having a trial done is deal, there is one more reason you may not have thought of. You want to make sure your personalities gel well together. You want to surround yourself with people who fit the vibe you're wanting to create for the morning.

First, touch up anything you need to like powder.

Then grab an eyeliner or shadow stick. Run it across the eyelid. Make sure you blend to create that smokey effect. Chuck of a lash is you're confidant.

I'd also add more blush and a cute lip colour.

BAM! You're done and ready to head out.

Answer:

Makeup has no rules. So, wear whatever you're vibing. BUT certain colours can make the eyes POP!

Blue eyes- Warm shades like browns, golds, terracotta, oranges.
Green eyes- Golds, bronze, purples.
Brown eyes- Literally ANY colour 😍
Hazel eyes- Earthy tones, green, browns, golds.
