I don’t even know where to start with this one because saying I’m proud doesn’t quite cover it. 🥹

I’ve watched Soph grow from the young girl who first walked into Beccalicious, helping out and finding her feet, to starting her apprenticeship and now standing beside me as a fully qualified Nail Technician. 💅🏼✨

And what a journey it has been.

There have been wins, mistakes, hard days, proud days, plenty of laughs, probably a few “Bec, help!” moments 😂 and SO much growth in between.

But Soph, you kept showing up. You kept learning. You kept pushing yourself. And watching your confidence, skills and belief in yourself grow has been one of my favourite parts of this whole journey.

I’ve never really thought of myself as your “boss”. Somewhere along the way I became your work mum — and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🥹🩷

What you probably don’t realise is just how much you’ve taught me too.

You’ve taught me how to lead someone, how to step back and let someone find their own way, how to be patient 😂 and how special it is to watch someone grow when you’ve been there cheering them on from the beginning.

You’re not just someone who works at Beccalicious.

You’re part of its story.
You’re part of our little family.
And this salon genuinely would not be the same without you.

Watching you develop your own style, build relationships with our Besties and become the nail tech you are today has made this work mum ridiculously proud. 🥹

4 years of building more than just a salon… I’ve built a community.

When I opened the doors to Beccalicious, I never imagined just how many incredible women would become part of this journey. Every appointment, every conversation, every laugh, every happy tear, every milestone you’ve shared with me has helped shape what Beccalicious is today.

This past year has been one of the biggest yet. We’ve continued to grow, welcomed so many new Besties, pushed ourselves to be better every single day, and reached goals that once felt impossible.

One of the things I’m most proud of has been watching Sophie grow. From joining me as a school-based trainee to becoming an incredibly talented nail artist, she has worked so hard for this moment. In just a couple of weeks she’ll officially graduate as a qualified Nail Technician, and I honestly couldn’t be prouder. Watching her confidence, skill and passion grow has been such a privilege, and I know this is only the beginning for her. 🩷

To every single person who has booked an appointment, recommended us to a friend, liked a post, shared our work, or simply believed in what we’re creating… thank you.
