Being in small business isn’t always easy, so being recognised alongside so many incredible businesses is something really special. ❤️
To our beautiful clients, our community and our little tribe — thank you! 🥹💗 Without your support, encouragement, laughs, conversations and ongoing love, Your Mane Hairstylist simply wouldn’t be what it is today.
I’ve always wanted to create a salon that is more than just great hair. A place where people feel seen, heard, welcome and completely themselves — with a fun, professional and friendly vibe where you can come in, have a laugh, have a vent, or simply enjoy some time for yourself.
We are beyond grateful for every single person who has helped us build this little salon and keeps us moving forward. 🫶🏼
And of course… we nearly forgot to take a photo of us all dressed up! 😂 So, at the very end of the night, we grabbed a security guard and said, “Quick! Can you please take our photo?” 🤣
Honestly, that pretty much sums us up — distracted squirrels, full of personality, big laughs and always having a good time. 🐿️😂
I wouldn’t want to do this crazy small-business journey without my amazing team and the incredible clients who continue to support us.

To know that this recognition comes from our beautiful clients and local community means more to me than I can put into words. Thank you for believing in us, supporting us, and trusting us with not only your hair, but the conversations, laughter and moments we share in the salon every day.

If I’m honest, this year has stretched me. As a small business owner and a mum, there have been plenty of moments where I’ve questioned myself and wondered if I was doing enough. Running a business has a way of teaching you lessons you never expected. It asks you to grow, to face your fears, and to keep showing up, even on the hard days.

Receiving this news was a gentle reminder of why I started this journey in the first place.

To my incredible team, thank you for sharing this dream with me. Your kindness, creativity and dedication are what make our salon the warm, welcoming space it is. I’m so grateful to have you beside me.

Simply being named a finalist feels like a win. Of course, taking home the award would be an incredible honour, but every finalist has poured their heart into their business, and each one deserves to be celebrated.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for choosing us, supporting local, and allowing us to do what we love every single day. I will never take that for granted.
