As I’m sure you are all aware, due to the new COVID restrictions in place, I won’t be taking any bookings until I am able to re open. Any clients whose appointments have been affected will get priority for the soonest available appointments and I will be in touch with you soon. Thank you for your patience and understanding during these trying times, I look forward to normalcy again soon, but for now I’m making the most of more time at home with my babies 🧡✨

This decision hasn’t been made lightly, but with cutting back my hours I need to make sure my current clients aren’t missing out. Thanks to everyone for their continued support, hopefully I will see some fresh faces in 2021 🥰💇🏽‍♀️ Please share!

Salon update

To my valued clients, I hope you’re all keeping safe and not letting fear control you during this crazy, uncertain time. I want to touch base with you all quickly....
Firstly, I’m looking at doing an order for extra shampoo and conditioner for the following uncertain months of possible closure. If you know you will be needing to stock up on any shampoo or conditioner (especially the litre bottles) in the near future I urge you to let me know as I’m finalising an order at the moment and it may be my last one for a while.

Next, if you have an appointment in the next month and wish to try and bring it forward to have a touch up done before I close, please contact me ASAP. Call my mobile and leave a message if you don’t hear back from me, as its so busy and hard to message back and forward with up to 10 people a day as well as do my job. Also, I know and understand that some clients who are booked in, wont feel comfortable to keep their appointment and I’m hoping I can work something out for you where some can possibly arrange for me to deliver a mixed up colour that you can do a touch up at home, but I’m still working out how that would go. Your health is the most important factor so please contact me to cancel if this is the case for you.

Please be assured that while I can remain open for business I am taking every precaution to ensure that the salon is as clean and hygienic as possible and following the governments advice.

⁃ I will be cleaning every cape and towel after every single use
⁃ I will have hand wash for you to wash hands on arrival and before you leave
⁃ I ask that you please use your bathroom before coming to limit rooms being used.
⁃ I have removed all magazines and toys to minimise cross contact between clients, please bring something to keep yourself entertained if you need
⁃ Every chair/bench/comb/surface is cleaned between clients
⁃ Where possible only one client will be in the salon at a time
⁃ If possible please come alone, but as I am very understanding that sometimes we have no other option, I ask that the kids stay in the salon and you bring something for them to play with/watch
⁃ I will be wearing new gloves frequently to make coffee, handle money, ect but there wont be any biscuits
⁃ I will be continuously checking for updates and closely monitoring the local situation and will reassess my decision to remain open daily.

This has been a difficult decision to remain open, and it can change at any time. I urge all clients, PLEASE if you have been feeling unwell at all, to call and cancel your appointment. If you have been interstate, or in contact with someone who has tested positive, DO NOT COME until you have self isolated for 14 days. You have a duty of care to your community and I cant stress this enough.

Thank you all for your continued support during these uncertain times. It means so much to me and I’m thankful to have so much support from you all.
Remember, please support small businesses where possible as many wont survive this crisis.
Be kind, be supportive and have each others backs. We will come out the other side eventually and it is important to show our kids/peers/community how to stick together and persevere during a crisis.

Business as usual here for now, but rest assured I am taking extra precautions to make sure the salon is as hygienic as it needs to be to keep you all as safe as possible. Also, I have 2 salon chairs now so plenty of room and will try to just keep 1 person at a time where possible. Thank you all for your continued support and let’s hope this all is contained soon so we don’t all end up homeless or clinically insane from social isolation 😬😰

Well.... so much for our quiet weekend with the kids 😂 Instead, we spent it working flat out, transforming the salon to bring in an extra chair and a more calming space 🙌🏼😍💚 (well mostly worked hard, and I barked orders telling him how to do his job 😂) you’re the best babe! Clocked off at 10:30pm, just in time to sleep before the day starts tomorrow.
