My Selfcare Community

Meet Cath! 👋

Cath is a salon owner in Tuncurry with many years of experience in the beauty industry. She’s also been part of our My Selfcare team, delivering workshops for women with disability.

Cath and our founder, Kate, first met as Beauty Therapy teachers, and now they’re back collaborating again through My Selfcare Community. 💞

Cath will be joining us for National Carers Week, leading self-care product making as well as hand and nail care as part of our upcoming workshops.

Places are still available - see our recent posts for all the details and how to register.

💙 We’re looking forward to running self-care workshops for carers in Kempsey and Taree this October, as part of National Carers Week 2026.

National Carers Week recognises and celebrates the more than 3 million Australians providing unpaid care to family members and people in their community who need support due to disability, a medical condition, mental illness, or because they are frail and aged.

A little glimpse (and shimmer ✨) from one of our activities at the Kempsey workshop on Wednesday.

Three groups rotated through hands-on activities designed to give everyone the opportunity to participate and connect with others.

Thank you to the Kempsey Shire Council Community Grants Program and Kempsey Macleay RSL Club for supporting this workshop. 💞
