This lovely client had her hybrid lashes done by another lash tech while she was on holiday and came to see me 3 weeks later. After a consultation, she still loved the hybrid style, so instead of removing everything and doing a full set, we were able to refresh them with an infill.

After spending the first week of the school holidays making special memories with my little boy, exploring new local spots, and even taking him bowling for the first time, I decided it was time for a little break and headed to the Gold Coast with my friends💛
We enjoyed shopping, delicious food, lots of laughs, and then travelled to the beautiful town of Grafton. I even treated myself to an hour of foot and body massage… and honestly, it was exactly what I needed.
Can I ask all the mummas out there… have you ever felt guilty about taking time for yourself?
I know I sometimes do. But after chatting with other mums, I realised so many of us feel the same. Once we become mums, we often put ourselves last and forget that we need care too.
Taking a little break doesn’t mean I love my family any less. It doesn’t make me a bad mum. It simply means I’m filling my own cup so I can come home happier, calmer, and with more energy for the people I love most.
It’s okay to take a break, laugh with your friends, explore new places, and do something just for you—as long as your little ones are safe and being cared for by someone you know and trust. ❤️
Looking after yourself isn’t selfish—it’s self-care.
