The 1st October sees a ban on card surcharges.
Of course this is not the win one thinks. The cost hasn’t disappeared. It has just moved so we are accepting CASH and DIRECT DEPOSITS and thank all that have pivoted already.
We understand that a POS is still required for those needing the convenience that it delivers.
We don’t want to build it into our prices, however not one institution looked at truly lowering their interchange fees, some dropped, but it is still hefty. . . Of course we are hoping that they actually pass it on to us. Wouldn’t that be nice Beauties.
