Congratulations to Casey today who has been a Lovely Locks Stylist for 10 years today , so grateful to have the most beautiful woman to work alongside with for the last decade .
Case is the most genuine, thoughtful , talented and oh so funny coworker and Lovely Locks is so lucky to have her .
We have shared so many wonderful times including 3 x babies each together , loads of Reno’s where she has been amazing support and helped me keep going , we did covid together where we rang 400 clients between us until our mum brains hurt when we were able to reopen after lockdown.
Casey is a role model in our salon , she truly cares for every client and always strives to make her clients happy and she loves a chat . She always loves a good laugh in the salon with the team and we truly so blessed have her
So cheers to you Casey , To the next decade working together , love ya heaps

This week Skyla , Jade and myself had the amazing opportunity to attend and work backstage at Brisbane Fashion Festival , We worked on the Brisbane Fashion show showcasing a variety of fashion designers and The Carla Zampatti Show

When you’ve been hairdressing over 25 years and the new version polychrome comes out it takes me back to early 2000s hair when I first started hairdressing and here’s my take on it
First I crafted a very activated curly s**g cut with loads of framing and volume
2nd it’s all about placement and really thinking what will stand out and show off my haircut , so we used the polychrome technique and sectioned out foils exactly where I wanted our vibrant colours to peek through, I did a beautiful rich global to make my highlights stand out even more and adding shine to my gorgeous clients hair.
3rd step after shampooing and drying the hair it was time to add some pink , I used 2 x pink colours in heavy slice sections to create further dimension and contrast to my overall look
4th step it’s time to shine , I used the new session label jelly to amp up my curls and look at the definition it created , I finished with osis sparkler to add final shine for my client
And voila !! Polychrome magic achieved
