At this point, I know exactly what her hair likes, what it doesn’t, and exactly how far we can push it to get that clean, creamy, stupidly pretty blonde.

The combo? Elite.

The bands? Absolutely not invited.
The breakage? Also not on the guest list. 😂

Mollie~ A little hair journey 🤍
This one was a giant regrowth from foils we did way back in December 😅 and I just want to say something I truly believe — there is absolutely no judgment here.

If I only see you once a year, I still value you just as much. I’m genuinely honoured that you choose me to be the person you trust with your hair, whenever that may be. 🤍

I’ve been doing Mollie’s hair for over a decade now, and after all the different colours, changes and stages we’ve been through together, I know her hair really well. I know what it can handle, what it needs, and what is realistically achievable while still keeping the length and integrity of her hair a priority.

So today wasn’t about trying to make it “perfect” in one appointment. This is step one of getting her all-over blonde, and the goal today was getting that huge amount of regrowth up to blonde with as little banding as possible, while keeping her hair healthy and holding onto all that beautiful length.

You can still see a few tiny pieces of darker hair through the previous foiled section — those are the little details I’ll pick out and perfect next time. ✨

Big colour changes are a process, and that’s okay. Sometimes the best hairdressing is knowing when to take the extra time and when to leave something for the next appointment.
