✨ A morning of education, good hair & just a little bit of chaos ✨

This morning we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Roberto Tarla into the salon for a private education session — and yes, we were all very excited to play hairdressers with someone who knows a thing or two! 👀✂️

Deb volunteered herself as our model, wanting a little change and, more importantly, a little more funk. And honestly… we were here for it. 😂

Roberto took us through his approach to creating a seamless layered haircut — how to make those layers melt beautifully into each other, create a balanced face frame and build that gorgeous, solid base.

Then came the blow-dry… and WOW. 🤯

We’re pretty sure every hairdresser in the room simultaneously questioned everything they’ve ever done with a round brush. 😂

After watching the most mesmerising blow-dry we’ve ever seen, Roberto showed us how to personalise the cut and really bring the whole look together.

Because apparently, there is a difference between “just taking a little bit off” and actually knowing what you’re doing. 😉✂️

A huge thank you to Roberto for sharing your knowledge, techniques and passion with us. We had the BEST morning learning, laughing and adding a few more tricks to our hairdressing toolbox🤍✂️

Jacqui keeps the behind the scenes running smoothly and makes all of your appointments!

Meet Rebecca!
Bec is our talented senior she has been doing hair for 20+ years. Originally from Brisbane, she relocated here 4 years ago and has called the Whitsundays home since!

Bec loves all things colour, keratin and perms!

Meet Kate
Kate is our senior and had been doing hair for 5+ years.
Growing up on the cane farm Kate is a long time local!

Kate loves all things blonde, big transformations and dimensional colours!

Meet Lucie
Lucie is our 3rd year apprentice. She has been in the hair industry for 4 years and almost completed her apprenticeship.
Lucie loves all things lived in, dimensional brunettes, and styling.

Meet Maddie
Maddie is our 3rd year apprentice, she has been doing hair for 3 years now and almost completed her apprenticeship.
Maddie loves all things blonde, bright and styling.

Meet Vivien
Our tea and tidy. Viv is a key part of our Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturdays helping out in the salon and giving THE BEST head massages!

Brooklyn is our Tea and Tidy and a key part of our Monday and Wednesdays. Keeping the salon run smoothly of an afternoon! She loves jumping on the straightener and getting hands on!
