It's Live Music all weekend at Walsh's Hotel, with Moonman kicking off our Solo Fridays and Rubik's Dudes returning for our Big Band Saturdays, that will be returning on the first Saturday of every month. Get in either night & enjoy a $10 Long Island while these artists look to tear the roof of the place!

🎉🎊 Celebrating 50yrs🎊🎉

On Saturday night we celebrated 50yrs of the CCFC Southern Cats with over 150 people in attendance. A huge effort for a club that was a 1 team club for 49 of those years.

Thank you to all who attended, those who helped make the evening, our MC Craig Moore, our event photographer - Capturing Moore Photography, our venue, Canberra Southern Cross Club and Stewart Barton for the top shelf entertainment!

A HUGE congratulations to our 4 new Life Members, Gail Eastaway, Zach Bowden, Graeme Mann and Peter Dean.

And congratulations to all the players past and present who were named in the CCFC Southern Cats team of the half century.

Walsh's Hotel got pumped for State of Origin Game 1, so we're keeping the exact same Pizza & Schooner promo running all night tonight for Game 2! We don't want to do anything different and risk ruining the Blues chances of making it back-to-back wins!

The World Cup only happens once every four years, and we're not about to force fans to sit at home and watch it on SBS in solitude (not when it's finally on at a respectable hour!) Live music returns to Walsh's Hotel every Friday night from tomorrow onward, with the return of fan favourite local crew, Boppo & The Acoustic Set! They'll be kicking off from 9pm - just after the Joker Poker & Meat Tray Raffles have finished up for the night - so pop on in for a $12 Long Island Iced Tea (only while the band plays!)
