Perfect Paws started in the treatment room.
In 1996, Skin Juice founder Jo Dampney created it for the signature manicure and pedicure ritual at her original salon, Revel in Beauty. She wanted something that felt smoothing, soothing and light on the skin, without the greasy finish hand creams were known for.
Years later, for Christmas 2023, we gave that original formula a berry twist — inspired by repeated requests to bring the signature Skin Juice berry scent into more products.
Berry Perfect Paws was meant to be a festive moment. Now, The Skin Juice Archive is giving it one more squeeze.

A look through the Skin Juice archive wouldn't be complete without looking at the origins of one of our favourite products - Green Juice Rescue Balm.
First created around 1999 by Skin Juice founder Jo Dampney as a massage medium in her beauty therapy business. In fact, the original name was Massage Butter Balm.
Designed to soothe through the power of touch, client feedback soon revealed it was doing much more: calming, repairing and restoring the skin itself.
From there, it grew into one of our most iconic formulas, loved for its ability to comfort and replenish.
Today, we still hand-pour every jar (and tube), making approximately 700 litres each year, a process that keeps this balm as personal as the day it was first created.
The name has changed. The reason people keep reaching for it hasn’t.
