Being a 51-year-old perimenopausal woman in a European heatwave is like being trapped in Dante’s Inferno. 🥵🔥

So you can imagine my delirious delight when we finally got a brief storm and some cooling rain. 🌧️

I was overcome with joy and wanted to lie down in the street and deliver my finest starfish.

Unfortunately, I’m travelling with Mr Sensible Italian.
