As most would be aware this new Covid has no mercy & due to this new outbreak we are now in an extended lockdown. At this point in time we will potentially Reopen on Fri 3rd Sept all going to plan. We will keep everyone informed on exact dates once we ourselves know. Please everyone stay staff & strong during these difficult times. We will all overcome this & be stronger than ever. With Sunday's Government Announcement, it is with a heavy heart that we need to advise our Clients that Sylk Hair Boutique will be temporarily closed until the 26th Oct at least at this point in time.

If you have an existing appointment we will be in contact closer to the opening date to reschedule everyone.

Even though we cannot see you in person we are still here to help 🥰

To All Our Valued Clients at Sylk Hair Boutique. This is the latest update on the temporary closure of the Salon. We are all happy to announce that Sylk Hair Boutique will reopen on Thurs 21st May. The new temporary hours will be Thurs & Fri from 10am-7pm & Sat 9am-5pm. These will be the re-start opening hours for about 2 weeks & we will increase as confidence builds in the community again. We are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience this has caused anyone. But we are looking forward to coming back stronger than ever & creating amazing work. We will follow all hygiene & infection control guidelines set forth by the government so please rest assured that everyone will be safe within the Salon. Look forward to seeing everyone once again. In case you were wondering if it’s safe to come in to Sylk Hair Boutique during these uncertain times, we wanted to get in touch to reassure you of the usual and extra measures we are taking right now.

We are monitoring the situation closely and day by day - at the moment, we’re operating business as usual and look forward to seeing you for your next appointment.

When you’re here, you should know that:

We sterilise our hairbrushes and scissors We disinfect our stations after every treatment using an antibacterial solution We ask that you wash your hands on arrival Our staff are washing their hands after every single client, using handwashing technique as set out by the WHO We now disinfect our reception desk after every transaction and all door handles at regular intervals throughout the day We request Apple/GooglePay/contactless transactions where possible
We are checking in with staff daily to ensure they are health and well, and have not been in contact with anyone who has travelled from the worst affected Covid-19 areas

Please don’t be offended, but we will be asking anyone coming to the salon for their appointment to also wash their hands on arrival.

If you have a cold, a sniffle, a cough, fever or are feeling unwell, firstly, we are sorry to hear it! And secondly, we would ask that you kindly reschedule your appointment here so that we can see you when you’re back feeling fighting fit.

If and when the time comes that we need to take extra measures, we will do so in the most responsible way as advised by the right authorities.

In the meantime, we’re here for you and your hair needs. Let’s not let the important things slide 🙂
