Multi-award-winning with 600+ five-star reviews and 20 years in business.
Our Salon Owner Cass is also a qualified Trichologist at Tricho Health Clinic, where she helps patients across Sydney's North West manage hair loss, thinning and scalp conditions.
In a recent podcast appearance, she tackled one of the biggest questions in the hair loss world: do hair growth products actually work?
If you've ever found yourself standing in front of a shelf of serums, supplements and miracle cures wondering where to start, you're definitely not alone.
The truth is that some products can help, some won't, and some are simply blessed with a very enthusiastic marketing department.
The biggest factor is understanding what is causing the hair loss in the first place.
This clip from the podcast dives into how to separate evidence from advertising and why there is rarely a one-size-fits-all solution.
For more hair science, less guesswork and fewer miracle promises, head over and follow Tricho Health Clinic.

5 stars.
Hundreds of times.
We’re grateful every time.
Our Salon owner Cass recently appeared on a podcast discussing postpartum hair loss and why so many women experience increased shedding after pregnancy.
As a qualified Trichologist at Tricho Health Clinic in Sydney's North West, supporting women through postpartum hair changes is something she helps patients navigate every week.
One minute your hair is thick, shiny and worthy of its own shampoo commercial...
The next, it feels like you're losing half of it every time you wash your hair.
The good news is that postpartum shedding is incredibly common and, in many cases, completely normal.
In this podcast clip, Cass explains why pregnancy gives us those luscious locks and why our hormones have other plans once baby arrives.
If this sounds familiar, you're certainly not alone.

Awards are nice…
But these mean more.
Our Salon Owner Cass is also a qualified Trichologist at Tricho Health Clinic, helping patients across Sydney's North West uncover the causes behind hair loss, thinning and scalp concerns.
In a recent podcast appearance, she explained why getting a diagnosis for your hair loss is often the most important first step before starting treatment.
Hair loss isn't actually a diagnosis — it's a symptom.
Hormones, iron levels, thyroid conditions, stress, genetics, medications and scalp health can all play a role, and the best treatment depends entirely on understanding the cause first.
Many of our Grey Blending and Transformation clients know Cass from behind the chair at The Cutting Room, but this is another side of the work she does every day.
Take a listen to this clip from the podcast and if hair loss or thinning has been on your mind, head over and give Tricho Health Clinic a follow for more evidence-based education and advice.

How do you transition to grey hair without giving up colour?
You might be happy to stop covering every grey, but that doesn’t always mean you’re ready suddenly ready to be all silver.
This client still loved her pink.
She didn’t love the regrowth line that came with it.
So instead of trying to make everything blonde or cover every grey, Amie worked out a plan that let both exist together.
The first step was a colour reducer, which means removing some of the old pink and red build-up that had been sitting in the hair for years, so there was a cleaner base to work from.
Then came the softer tones and strategic foils.
Fine foils through the regrowth softened the line between the natural grey and the coloured ends, while lavender and periwinkle tones helped the pink sit more comfortable alongside the silver coming through. She also uses a colour mask at home to keep those tones fresh between appointments.
Grey blending doesn’t have to mean doing lighter. It’s about making it work for you.

It’s the first day of Plastic Free July and your fruit bowl might already be doing half the work.
Bananas come with their own packaging.
Mandarins come with their own packaging.
Carrots don’t need a plastic bag either.
Sometimes reducing plastic isn’t about buying expensive alternatives or changing everything overnight. It can be as simple as bringing your own reusable produce bags when you shop.
A single plastic bag can take 500 years or more to break down, which means many of the bags used for a few minutes today will still be around for generations to come.
At The Cutting Room sustainability has always been important to us, so Plastic Free July is something we love getting behind.
Small changes on their own might not seem like much.
But when lots of people make lots of small changes, they add up.
Are you taking part in Plastic Free July this year? We’d love to hear about the swaps you’ve made that have actually stuck.

One of the biggest misconceptions about Indian hair is that because it's naturally thicker, darker or stronger, it can tolerate unlimited lightening.
The reality is that hair health should always come first.
At The Cutting Room, we take a consultation-led approach to blonding, balayage and colour transformations because achieving your goal isn't just about today.
It's about where your hair will be in six months.
Healthy hair reflects more shine.
Healthy hair holds colour better.
Healthy hair gives us more options for future appointments.
That's why we focus on hair integrity, realistic colour planning and long-term results rather than pushing your hair beyond what it can safely achieve.
Because the most beautiful hair isn't always the lightest.
It's the hair that still looks and feels healthy.
Thinking about balayage, blonding or a colour transformation for Indian hair?
Let's create a plan that protects your hair while moving you towards your goals.
