Look at my beautiful client 🤩 This was at her 6-8 week touch up appointment. Here we added more pigment to get a little more definition behind her natural brows. This is ombre brows and will heal softer and cooler in colour 🤎

If you see from my previous post you will see how soft they healed at the touch up. Touch up appointments are perfect as we can assess the colour and know what now needs to be done. Here I layered more of the same colour we initially used over the top, knowing that when they heal they will still be nice and soft ✨

Fresh brows - a detailed photo showing the hairline and ombre effect. Initially they are vibrant and bold as fresh pigment sits on the skin. Once healed (and we allow 6-8 weeks for the true results) they will soften and be more muted behind the hair giving a softer powder brow look. 2nd photo shows us zoomed out and how brows create a beautiful balanced look 🤎

One of the biggest misconceptions about cosmetic tattooing is that brows stay looking bold and blocky. They don’t.

As your brows heal, the skin naturally softens the pigment, creating a more misty, diffused finish that blends beautifully with your natural brow hairs. The end goal is for soft enhancements that look like you, just a little more defined.

Things that also effect healing:

Here I could see how lovely my client retained this pigment so we kept the colour the same and simply added a little more saturation to give her a little more definition knowing they will still heal soft and misty 👌🏼

Here you can see they are freshly done so brows will always appear more vibrant and a little darker and then once they go through the healing process they then will soften ✨

A fresh nano brow refresh for my return client. We’ve used mineral pigments and hybrid pigments in the past for a soft fade out. For male brows I want to focus on keeping the results warm soft and understated - enough to frame the face without looking harsh or over powering.

✨Brow tattoo ~ Healed vs fresh results✨

One important thing to remember with cosmetic tattooing is that the results you see straight away is not what your final result will look like.

Immediately after the appointment your cosmetic tattoo will appear darker and more defined. As the skin heals over in a few weeks the pigment softens and settles into the skin creating a natural balanced enhancement. Swipe through to see the difference between fresh and healed brows.

Sometimes clients want their brows refreshed, but the existing tattoo is already very saturated. In these cases, lightening or partial removal may be the best option before doing new work to achieve a softer and more natural result ✨

When it comes to removing or partial removal of cosmetic tattoos, there are two common methods used in the industry.

✨ Laser Removal
Laser works by breaking down pigment particles in the skin so the body can naturally remove them.
This method is often used for older or darker cosmetic tattoos and can lighten pigment relatively quickly.

✨ Glycolic Solution Removal
This technique uses a specialised solution implanted into the skin which helps draw pigment out during the healing process.
It can be useful for certain pigments or small corrections.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to cosmetic tattoo removal. The best method depends on factors such as:
