Maternity Sessions

Maternity photography is all about celebrating the beauty of pregnancy and capturing the remarkable changes your body goes through as it prepares to welcome your little one. These sessions allow you to look back and cherish the journey of this special time in your life.

We recommend booking your maternity session when you are between 30-35 weeks pregnant. This is typically the ideal time, just before your baby drops in preparation for birth. It allows for a beautiful, rounded belly without losing the flattering shape that we love to capture in photos. However, if you're a little past 35 weeks, don’t worry – we can still create beautiful memories and show off your amazing body, no matter the stage!

Our maternity sessions are relaxed and fun, typically lasting 20-30 minutes. They can be done at a location of your choice, whether it's in our studio or at a scenic outdoor spot that holds special meaning for you. After your session, all images are delivered via an online gallery, making it easy for you to download, share, and print your photos.

Hi!

I’m Carmen, and I own Studio Thirtytwo – Central Queensland’s exciting one-stop shop for Photography, Beauty, and Holistic Healing. I’ve been passionate about photography since I was little and have been working professionally in the field since 2011. My business was previously known as Carmen Howells Photography, but in 2018, we rebranded as we expanded to offer more than just photography, becoming a family-run business with a range of services.

In 2015, I found myself drawn to Holistic Healing. It provided me with a sense of calm amidst my busy and stressful life, and I was eager to share this with others. After experiencing its profound benefits, I studied Reiki and became a Reiki Master in 2020. Every year, I continue to learn new techniques to offer even more services to my clients, helping them find peace and healing in their lives.

I’m married to my best friend, Greg, who is the best assistant ever (though I won’t boost his ego too much). You’ll often find him by my side at photography sessions or weddings, capturing behind-the-scenes moments, driving me around, or carrying my gear. We make a great team, and together, we have a blended family of three talented daughters, each running their own beauty side businesses while working full-time. They sometimes help out too! Greg and I both work full time, and in our free time, we love to travel and explore both locally and abroad. We enjoy meeting new people and creating new memories along the way.

Our 360 video booth is an interactive experience guaranteed to elevate your event. Think photo booth but Bigger, Faster & WAY MORE FUN!

The traditional photo booth is still great, but the 360 video booth will transform your event into an interactive masterpiece that captures every grin, twirl and laugh from all sides. Whether it is a wedding, corporate event, birthday party or any other occasion, our 360 booth will add an exciting and unique element that your guests will talk about for ages.

Our 360 Video Booth Hire Package Includes: red carpet entrance to the booth (with bollards), set up and set down, dedicated staff to assist your guests, 360 slow motion boomerang videos, props, sharing station for guests to receive their videos, branding options available. Host will receive all videos via an online gallery. Booth platform can hold up to 6 people.

The set up will require approximately 3x3m of space and a flat, undercover location.
