Here it is a long story but well worth a read. Some may judge me as a parent and that’s ok you are untitled to your opinion. But like I always say don’t judge if you haven’t been in a person’s situation.

Here is my little boy Tom that has only just turned 5 on July 30th. Tom was unfortunately born with a respiratory condition called Laryngomalacia which causes his airways to collapse and he has what we call blue spells (stops breathing) from 7 weeks old he had his first lot of surgery and since then has had more but is constantly on steroids. His condition most kids grow out off by his age but there is a few that don’t, and Tom is in that percentage. Life lately has been challenging with him and he has had more steroids then ever, we have even gone to the extreme of putting a baby monitor back on him just to hear him sleeping. Due to this he needs to have surgery again and then a sleep apnea test done to get a machine to sleep with. However now the doctors are saying my son is a high risk due to his BMI.

How unfair is this, my little boy from 7 weeks old has not been given a chance to fight his battle with weight due the amount of steroids he has needed to survive and now needs surgery that is urgent. But we have medical practitioners on our case as his BMI is way too high. On the other hand both my husband and I are not small structures either and nor is our family so his genes are against the odds as well. I do feel as though there should be a different BMI on body types.

As a parent there have been nights I have cried myself to sleep due to my little boys BMI and people judging him and us a parents. I have tried everything under the sun medically and holistic to help him and nothing has ever worked. Also how do you say to a 5yr old boy that he has to go on a diet. That for their mental heath is not a good idea to have at such a young age.

You instantly have people telling him to stop eating, judging things he puts in his mouth and so on it’s heartbreaking. This kid is the most strong headed, determined little boy you have ever meet. He literally does not stop. He does sports every week and when he isn’t there we are always outside doing something. And he literally does not stop! However when you tell people this they think you are full of s**t.

My gorgeous friend Kate reached out and told me about this amazing product and don’t get me wrong I was really sceptical about it. But then on the other hand I wanted to know if this truly works could it be the answer to our prayers for our little boy. I read up on it to Make sure it was truly what they are saying it is and did my research. As this is my little one and whole world I am giving it to. Good morning all. Well D day is here!!
