Today my mum sent me this throwback to 1993…
A professional photographer came to my salon to snap a pic of me just after winning the Queensland Overseas Foundation Scholarship. I was about to take the biggest leap of my life ✈️
I packed up everything and moved to London, (on the day Kurt Cobain died) where I landed a job at Toni & Guy in Kensington.
It was scary, exciting, and completely life-changing.
Looking back now, it was hands down the best thing I ever did for my career 💫

It’s amazing what the power of a haircut can do….
This awesome human came in ready for a change but terrified to take the plunge.
I cut this great s**g/mullet from long, grown out space buns with a combination of razor and scissors using and a buckling technique to finish.
Colour is a grown out home job but the dark roots magically work with this textured cut. (We will work on that next visit 💚💚💚)
I think we made each other’s day 😊 **g
Happy birthday Kitty and Tex! We may not have our little space in Alexandria and I miss our K&T family but I think I have the best job ever working with two amazing teams! in Sydney CBD and on the Central Coast ❤️
