Hi Everyone,
Just completed the job for the Murray Family Trust.
It was quite a lot of fun to do, over the last couple of months.
Thank you to Jason and his Family for trusting me with the job.
A lot of thought and collaboration had gone into the overall job, the results speak for themselves.
I have some more to post, but I thought I would share this one first.
Kindest Regards
Wayne

Sorry for no posts for a while, things have been moving along at a good pace. I want to thank all my clients for their trust to make up their Medals and Honour Boards. I am attaching a few photos to bring you all up to date.
I finished a set of Medals earlier this week. As everyone is aware it it the 80th Anniversary of the bombing of Darwin. The Medals were worn with pride to Commemorate the Anniversary.
LEST WE FORGET
Just cruising along getting my office renovated and ready for the coming months. I have finally got around to designing and preparing my Great Great Grandfather William Gearge Eastgate’s Military Honour Board for framing - just waiting for the Brass ‘Victorian Rangers’ Title and a photo of him in uniform for to arrive. I also have the preliminary design done for my Uncle Reuben’s Military Honour Board, just waiting for the 158 Australian Transport Company Colour Patches to arrive and it’s ready to go. I have four Military Honour Boards in at the Framers undergoing manufacture at the moment. I have just had the New Zealand set of medals picked up this morning, thank you Paul for you patronage and allowing me to do the medal repairs and remounting. ANZAC Day isn’t too far away so this is a timely reminder to get your medals overhauled and ready to go.

Just a quick Thank You to Bluey and Joe Wilson for allowing me to do a full remount of the Medals and Ribbons in the photo attached.
After I sorted Bluey out, Joe handed me two boxes with the World War 1 Medals. The boxes were the Original issue boxes the medals were issued in in 1922. I was surprised to find the medals had never been mounted but had been lovingly polished over the years, but time had started to dull them again.
All the Ribbon was also Original but very fragile.
The job on the WW1 Medals was very poignant as the Soldier they belonged to was 291 PTE JOHN ROLLASON 1 BN 1st AIF, an Original ANZAC who was Killed in Action 25 April 1915, the very first day of the Gallipoli Campaign. LEST WE FORGET
