In summer we are most likely to be out doors enjoying the sunshine, however a sun tan can interfere with the suitability for these treatments. .
Sun tanned skin makes it harder for the IPL/laser to recognise its target - be it for hair removal, pigmentation removal or skin rejuvenation. .

In the cooler months our skin will lighten due to being mostly covered up in long clothing. This offers a contrast of colours between the skin and the specific target to be treated. Therefore delivering more effective results! .

Another very important fact to consider when have IPL/laser is to take care of direct sun exposure before and after your treatment as the treated areas will be much more prone to sun burn causing redness, inflammation and possible blisters. .
