Let’s talk about the 100% rule on shields.
Most of us were taught to stop at 80 to 90% coverage on step two, because going past that can kink the tips or overwork the lash. That rule holds true on a curl shield. But on a hybrid shield, it doesn’t. (If you know how)
I’ve been going past 100% on hybrid shields for months now with zero kinking, zero damage. To be clear, this isn’t for lashes that are a lot longer than the shield, that’s a different problem. But if you’re only over by a few millimetres, you can push past 100% and still get a clean, safe lift.
If you’ve ever had a client with long lashes and couldn’t find a shield that fit them properly, or you’ve kinked a tip going too far and haven’t touched that percentage since, this is for you.
I’ll be adding a full lesson on exactly how to do this soon inside The Art of Korean Lash Lifting™. Current students will get it automatically, no extra cost.
If you’re not in the course yet and you’re tired of guessing your way through tricky lash lengths, head to the link in my bio and grab it. Consistent results start with actually understanding your shield, not just following a rule someone gave you years ago.
Every student who finishes my course will be able to achieve results like this.
Results like this come from knowing when and why you’re doing something, not just what products to use.
Let me teach you how. Link in bio.

You didn’t get into Korean lash lifts to feel like you’re guessing.
But that’s exactly what happens when nobody teaches you the parts that actually matter. The processing times nobody agrees on. 🙈
The shield size that isn’t the real problem. Four different product systems and no idea which one to trust. A client booked in tomorrow and you’re troubleshooting tonight.
I’ve had those messages land in my DMs for years. Not from beginners. From artists who are already good at what they do and still stuck on the same gaps, because the course they took rushed the theory and skipped the troubleshooting altogether.
That’s why I built The Art of Korean Lash Lifting™.
Every technique, every product comparison, every fix for the results that don’t sit right. The training I wish existed when I was the one guessing.
It pre-launches tomorrow at 4:30pm for $499. That price holds for 24 hours only, then it moves to $599. The first person to sign up gets it FREE.
In person training and a full starter kit will also be available as another option.
If you’ve ever sent / wanted to send a message like the ones in this carousel, this course was built for you.

What your mornings could look like if you don’t need to do your brows and lashes.👀
Ombré brows and a Korean lash lift together mean you wake up with both already done. No filling gaps, no curling, no fixing clumps before you’ve even had coffee.
Tinted sunscreen and out the door. That’s the whole routine now.
Comment BROWS or LASHES and I’ll flick you the info.🤎☺️
10 mistakes that can ruin a Korean lash lift
1. Wrong shield size or shape
Wrong fit for the lash length or eye shape and the curl sits wrong — too high, pinched, crossed, or uneven.
2. Jelly shield placed over the lashes, not in front
Lash won’t wrap properly. You get flat sections or a kink instead of a smooth lift.
3. Skipping the cleanse or final wash
Residue stops the solution working. Leftover solution left on keeps working after you’ve moved on.
4. Skipping the taping or the pre-comb
Lashes set at the wrong angle or overlap before the solution even goes on.
5. Skipping the compensator
Lower lashes shift, stick together, or get caught up while the solution sets.
6. Timing by the clock, not the lash
Bend it back gently. Springs into a V, it’s not ready. Soft U, it’s done.
7. Over-processing
Chasing a bigger curl weakens the lash from the inside. Dry, breaks easier, drops out sooner.
8. Lifting stray lashes outside the lash line
Glue them down instead. Lift them with the rest and the result looks mismatched.
A lift is a skill, not a formula. Nearly two decades of getting these details right is going into a course. If you read this and recognised your own work in a few of these, you are exactly who it’s for.
Seriously though.. mascara, lash extensions and lash curlers are pretty bad for your lashes.
Korean lash lifts are where it’s at! They enhance your natural lashes without the daily effort, maintenance and damage.
Watch till the end! 😂 🧜♀️
