Last week Seymour Elderly Citizens Hostel Inc. held its 61st AGM.
The AGM was well attended and was a great opportunity to celebrate staff achieving Long Service milestones of 10, 15 and 20 years.
The 2025 Karingal Stars were also recognised during the meeting.
The Karingal Seymour Star for Teamwork was Nikka Maghuyop (award at a seperate event later that day)
The Karingal Seymour Star for Respect was Brenda Spratt.
The Karingal Seymour Star for Empathy was Jaspreet Jatana.
The Karingal Seymour Star for Inclusiveness was Sheryl Sampson.
Overall Karingal Seymour Star was Stacey Hogan.

We have named our Robinson sections and our cosy fireplace lounge
The new names are very familiar names to us and our local communities and are in fact the names of Wings of the old Karingal Hostel.
In recognition of Margaret Wallis OAM, Keith Lowerson, Dorothy Miller and Frank Delaney as a proud independent not for profit community based organisation

At our AGM yesterday we announced our Karingal Seymour Stars for 2024.
Our stars have been nominated by our staff. The nominees embodied our core values of Respect, Empathy, Inclusiveness and Teamwork.

Sarah King was recognised for Inclusiveness.

Yesterday we held our 60th AGM
As part of the anniversary celebration we asked Joy Baker to cut the cake. Joy currently enjoys living at Karingal Seymour. Joy is a Life Governor and over her time on the committee held the positions of President, Vice President and Treasurer. The AGM was well attended with over 30 people in attendance
