First step was a thorough skin consult mitigating any possible triggers topically and internally. Turns out we needed to heal the gut, skin axis and skin barrier.
Would you believe this was a dry skin type!
Not only were we working with a dry acne, we also had some peri-oral dermatitis we needed to work on.
We then got to work with healing her skin barrier and calming down inflammation with her personalised Dermaviduals home care prescription.
Bespoke cleanser made up of 70% milk cleanser 30% gel cleanser.

2 x day Essentially fatty acid supplements.
No actives were used at this point.
We then commenced in clinic treatments.
There was so much inflammation and congestion under the skin! And there was only one way out when the oil had solidified under the skin, that was with professional extraction!
We also incorporated reiki healing and guided meditation into our treatments to help with the stress of living with acne calming the mind and nervous system.
