This time last week, we were gathered for our inaugural ANO Charity Gala. Taking a moment to reflect, it was truly one of the highlights of the nearly six years since ANO began.

Together, we raised $20,000 for our individuals in our family experiencing family violence, and we’re looking forward to sharing the impact those funds will have in the months ahead.

We’re already planning next year’s fundraising efforts and would love to support another incredible local organisation, particularly one focused on women in our region. If you know of one doing wonderful work, we’d love to hear about them in the comments below. 🤍

$20,000 raised through the ANO Charity Gala 2026 for VincentCare Victoria’s Marian Community Specialist Family Violence Services.

Presenting this cheque to the Marian Community team was one of the most emotional moments we’ve ever experienced. To stand beside Mayor Shane Sali, hear the incredibly moving words of Anna Tinsley, and witness our community come together for something so important was truly unforgettable.

This cause has sat heavily on our hearts for a long time, which made last night feel even more meaningful. What started as an idea became a room filled with compassion, generosity and genuine impact for local individuals, children and families experiencing family violence.

We’re so proud to celebrate Nurse Maigan on officially graduating with her postgraduate qualification in wound management. Such an incredible achievement and so well deserved.

As a single mum, balancing motherhood, clinical work and ongoing study is no small feat. Maigan now holds two degrees alongside over 10 years of experience in the medical industry, with advanced training in wound management, skin cancer and lymphoedema therapy. Her dedication to both her patients and her growth as a clinician is something truly special to witness.

At ANO, we’re deeply proud of the level of education, experience and diverse medical backgrounds across our team. Every clinician brings a unique skill set that allows us to provide holistic, safe and genuinely patient-centred care to our community.
