A small update 🤎

7 years of Salon Franc. 🤍

At just 23 years old, I opened the doors to Salon Franc with a whole lot of excitement, a little bit of fear, and absolutely no idea what I was doing. 😂 I was completely winging it and hoping hard work would do the rest.

These walls have seen so many versions of me. They’ve watched me grow from a young hairdresser into a business owner, a wife, a mum, and now someone preparing to welcome baby number two.

In the last 7 years we’ve survived a pandemic, two floods, staff changes, renovations, long days, lots of lessons, and so many incredible milestones. Every challenge has shaped us into who we are today.

To our clients, whether you’ve been with us from day one or have only recently found us, thank you. Thank you for trusting us, supporting us and allowing us to do what we love every day. We simply wouldn’t be here without you.

To my team, you are the heart of this Salon, thank you for caring so deeply for our clients, supporting each other and making SF feel like home. Watching each of you grow is one of the greatest parts of this job. To every team member who has ever been part of Salon Franc, thank you. Every single one of you has played a part in our story and helped shape this little business into what it is today.

A special thank you to Di. We’ve known each other since I first started hairdressing 15 years ago, and you’ve been beside me through every chapter, every crazy idea and every version of Salon Franc. I truly couldn’t have done it without you.

And finally, thank you to my family and friends. Owning a business is never something one person does alone. Thank you for the encouragement, the pep talks, the understanding when work has taken over, and for always backing me - even when I wasn’t sure what I was doing.
