There was a time I was scared to take the leap. Scared to leave the comfort of a stable 9–5. Scared of what people would say. Scared to fail.

When I first started lashing, I remember some of the women at work making comments about my ‘lash hobby’… and it made me question everything.

What if they’re right? What if I’m not good enough? What if I don’t make it? What if I can’t pay my bills and mortgage…

But I took the risk anyway.
I chose to believe in a version of me that didn’t exist yet.

And just a few months later…
I was fully booked, months in advance. I had a waitlist.
I was earning double what I did in my office job with less hours. I could work the hours I wanted,
And most importantly..I was happy!

This is your reminder:
- You’re allowed to start over.
- You’re allowed to make mistakes
- You’re allowed to choose a life that makes no sense to anyone but you
- The safest thing you can do is back yourself.

Because growth doesn’t happen in comfort, it happens in the leap of faith

A bittersweet post from me tonight ✨

As you all know from my previous reel explaining some changes, I wanted to do a separate post regarding this because there was just so much more to say..

In just 2 weeks, we’ll be saying goodbye to two incredibly special members of our KG family 😢

💖 has been with me since day one. I hired her when we first opened the salon and just 6 weeks later we were shut down during lockdowns. Shes been my sidekick, my support and my absolute rock through all of the ups and downs. Shes helped me grow this business into what it is today and has held it all together so I could take time off to have my babies. Her loyalty, hard work, and kindness will forever hold a special place in my heart.

💖 joined us 2 years ago and instantly became part of the family. She’s brought so much joy, warmth, and dedication to her work and to every client she’s treated, we have adored having her in the salon and she will be so very missed.

Eb has only 1 appt remaining this week, and mollie has just 1 appointment next week. These are the very last openings with the girls before they leave so if you’d like to book it in before they go please DM us or jump online asap.

It’s hard to put into words just how much these two mean to me and all our clients. While we’re sad to see them go, we are so proud of them and excited for their next chapters and forever grateful they have made KG the place it is today ✨
