On 4 July 2026, Samsara Salon quietly turned 15.

At first, I was going to let the milestone pass by, but fifteen years is a long time for any small business, and anyone who has done it knows just how much hard work, determination and love goes into it.
There have been plenty of ups and downs along the way, and like so many small businesses, surviving COVID was one of the biggest challenges.
Looking back, there is no way I could have done it without my wonderful clients and amazing staff, many of whom have become genuine friends over the years.
To all of my clients who continue to support Samsara and share their lives with us every time they walk through the door, thank you.
So many of you have been coming to the salon for years, and I truly look forward to seeing you. I love not only helping you feel your best and creating beautiful hair, but also the chats, laughs and friendships that have come from spending all these years together.
I hope you enjoy our company as much as we enjoy yours.
To every staff member, past and present, thank you for being part of the journey and helping shape Samsara into what it is today.
The salon has changed a lot over the last fifteen years — and so has the ever-growing jungle of plants surrounding us — but the warmth, friendships and sense of community have always remained.
And lastly, a very special thank you to my partner in crime and style, Louise Dummett.
Thank you for being such an incredible colleague, friend and confidant, and for all the laughs and fun we share every day.
I honestly cannot imagine coming to work without you there.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of Samsara’s story over the past fifteen years.
I feel incredibly lucky and grateful, and I look forward seeing where the next chapter takes us.
