✨ EXTENSION CARE 101 ✨

Your extensions are an investment, and the right care at home will help keep them soft, healthy and beautiful for longer.

🪮 BRUSHING
Gently brush your extensions morning and night using an extension-friendly brush. Support the attachment area and work through the ends first before moving upwards to help prevent pulling, knots and matting.

🧴 WASHING
Only use the professional, extension-safe products recommended by your stylist. Focus your shampoo around the scalp and natural hair, keeping the extensions smooth rather than scrubbing, rubbing or piling them on top of your head.

💧 HYDRATION
Extensions do not receive the same natural oils as your own hair, so moisture is essential. Apply a nourishing conditioner or treatment through the lengths and ends to keep them feeling soft, smooth and manageable.

🌙 BEFORE BED
Your hair must be completely dry before you go to sleep, especially around the roots and wefts. Loosely braid your hair before bed to reduce tangling, and sleep on a silk pillowcase where possible.

🔥 HEAT & STYLING
Always apply heat protection before styling and avoid placing hot tools directly against the attachment points. Keep ponytails and hairstyles loose, particularly during the first one to two weeks after your appointment.

🏊🏽‍♀️ SWIMMING & EXERCISE
Wear your hair in a loose braid rather than a tight bun. After swimming, rinse out chlorine or salt water as soon as possible and follow with plenty of conditioner or a hydrating treatment.

✂️ MAINTENANCE
Book your maintenance appointment every six to eight weeks. Leaving extensions for too long can lead to matting, discomfort and unnecessary stress on your natural hair.
