What is Hyaluronic Acid?

Hyaluronic acid is a humectant substance, which has been found capable of retaining water to 1000 times its weight, plus it's found naturally in your body!!
Hyaluronic acid is the prefect ingredient for helping your skin retain water. Unlike the name suggests it is not an acid and will not provide any exfoliation to the skin. It does however work to help hydrate, plump and smooth skin.
It is safe and beneficial to use as an everyday skin care ingredient. It does however need to be used correctly to obtain the best results.
To apply it correctly, as a rule you should be applying it to clean damp skin. Prior to moisturiser and oils. You can apply these after the hyaluronic acid serum has dried to lock in moisture.
