Adore Skin Journey

Chrissy

A considered approach to skin health and aesthetics should fit into real life. For Chrissy, the focus is on building a structured plan for melanin-rich skin that can adapt around work, lifestyle, recovery time, and long-term goals.

Professional life doesn’t stop for your skin journey — the plan should work around both.

Wondering why some treatment prices aren’t listed online?

Australian advertising regulations restrict how certain prescription-only cosmetic treatments, including their pricing, can be advertised. Pricing can instead be discussed as part of your consultation.

This is where the change starts.

How long does a treatment take — and how long can the effects last?

The procedure itself may be relatively short, but how long effects last can vary considerably depending on the treatment, individual anatomy, skin, lifestyle, and other factors.

Understanding both the treatment process and expected longevity is an important part of planning before you begin.

This is where the change starts.

Social media can make it easy to spend more on skincare and treatments without knowing what your skin actually needs.

Professional assessment helps identify your concerns, set realistic expectations, and build a personalised plan — so you’re investing in what is appropriate for you, rather than following the next trend.

Founder’s Corner

There’s something special about building something you love while evolving alongside it.

For me, the journey has been as much about self-discovery as it has been about the work — learning what matters to me, refining how I show up, and becoming more intentional with every chapter.

Growth isn’t always about doing more. Sometimes, it’s about understanding yourself better and allowing what you build to reflect who you’re becoming.

Still learning. Still evolving. Still finding my way.

One of my goals for Adore Clinics is to build more than a clinic—I want to build a system that helps patients better understand their skin journey from consultation through to long-term follow-up.

Over the coming months, we're refining how we educate, plan, and document each stage of that journey. From structured treatment planning to the Adore Collective and more educational content, every step is designed to make aesthetic medicine more transparent and easier to understand.

We're also exploring new tools, including Cloa app, to help organise content creation and share more consistent, high-quality educational resources. The aim is simple: spend less time chasing content and more time creating meaningful conversations around skin health and healthy ageing.

This is where the change starts.

A common misconception is that one treatment will address every skin or aesthetic concern.

Skin health, facial structure, ageing, lifestyle, and consistency all influence what is realistically achievable. Sometimes treatment is appropriate; sometimes the foundations need attention first.

Start with an assessment. Understand the concern. Build the plan from there.

This is where the change starts.

Lips aren’t one-size-fits-all. Lip shape, volume, projection, width, and proportion can vary considerably between individuals and across different ethnic backgrounds, including African, Asian, and Caucasian populations.

Good aesthetic planning starts by recognising those differences—not applying the same lip shape to everyone. The focus is on assessing your natural anatomy, facial proportions, and individual goals before considering what approach, if any, is appropriate.

In the Chair with Dr Daniel

One of the most common conversations I have is about the difference between what we see on social media and what is realistically achievable.

Photos and videos online often don’t show the full picture. During a consultation, we discuss your individual anatomy, skin health, goals, and what options may or may not be appropriate for you. The aim is to set realistic expectations and develop a personalised plan—not to recreate someone else’s results.

Healthy ageing isn't about chasing trends or trying every treatment you see on social media. It's about understanding your skin, your facial structure, and your goals before deciding whether any treatment is appropriate.

Professional assessment helps create a treatment plan that is personalised, structured, and designed to progress over time. Sometimes the right recommendation is skincare. Sometimes it's observation, lifestyle changes, or simply waiting. The best treatment plan isn't necessarily the one with the most treatments.
