Importance of Depth Control in SMP (Correction done by myself today)
1. Natural Appearance
• Correct depth ensures the pigment is deposited in the upper dermis, creating tiny, crisp dots that replicate natural hair follicles.
• Too shallow: pigment sits in the epidermis and fades quickly.
• Too deep: pigment spreads (blowout), causing blurred or unnatural results.
2. Skin Health & Safety
• Staying within the correct depth avoids unnecessary trauma to the skin.
• Over-penetration increases risk of scarring, infection, and prolonged healing.
3. Pigment Retention & Longevity
• Proper depth helps pigment bond with the skin for long-lasting results.
• Inconsistent depth can lead to uneven fading, patchiness, or the need for excessive touch-ups.

Making the masterpiece

Camouflaging that thinning hairline with a similar technique to balding men.
The process of this transformation took a total of three sessions, treatment covered from the crown through to the front of the hairline using a combination of black and red ink.

We used a combo of black and red pigments to achieve this final and seamless result.
