FROM THE RUNWAY TO REALLIFE: MY JOURNEY,MY GRATITUDE
Looking back over my career ,my heart is just full .I’ve been blessed to work alongside some of the absolute biggest names in our industry-Legends who shaped not just my craft,but who I am today .
Back in the 90’s at John Azzi ,I had the incredible privilege of working alongside shoulder-to-shoulder with the brilliant talents likes British editorial stylist Nick Irwin ,Australian superstar Maria M Kovacs ( now making waves in the UK) ,editorial colourist Belinda Jeffrey Hair ,and the iconic George Giavis

From there ,my path took me to London ,working in Covent Garden at MacMillans .I worked with more superstars,including Damien Carney ( who was one of my bosses) Miss Alex Price ,diving headfirst into high-end show and editorial work .

Eventually,it was time to come home .I took a massive gamble:instead of heading to the east suburbs or the city .I took a leap of faith on a brand-new salon in Newtown about 30 years ago It meant taking g a pay cut ,but by backing myself and proving what I could do ,the owners eventually offered my co-worker and me a chance to buy into the business

I shared that journey with Budi Juspandi ,an incredible editorial stylist.We did countless shows and magazines shoots together,and the biggest lesson he taught me was to stay grounded.My other business partner back then was Nathan Gorman ,who is now shining bright at KEVIN.MURPHY AUSTRALIA

( I walked away from that very successful business and made myself realise what’s truly important.)

Life has a way of testing us .At one point,I watched my father fall ill and pass away -the most profound lesson in life -while simultaneously going through a divorce.Facing
all of that at the same time broke me open ,but those heavy tools gave me the understanding strength I carry today

today ,my heart is entirely full .I am so grateful for LIT & SCOTT,my beautiful teens ,and my partner.They are my WHY ,driving me to work harder,keeping me grounded,and reminding me every single day what truly matters
