As boring as this advice is, remember to wear a hat, as even in winter, our South Australian sun can be harsh on your skin.

Did you know that UV rays can pe*****te clouds and still reach your skin, causing damage even on cloudy winter days? UV waves break down collagen and elastin fibres in your skin, leading to wrinkles and premature aging.

Ive attached a great research article about sun exposure and vitamin D - because we do need some skin exposure to the sunlight for the protective effects of Vitamin D. The exposure time may be less than you think! Using sunscreen daily reduces the risk of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer, aging, and immunosuppression while maintaining vitamin D levels according to this research.
