IPL - Do I need it?
Intense pulsed light works by delivering pulses of light to the skin targeting specific chromophores (melanin or hemoglobin). The light energy is transferred to heat, resulting in denaturation (or coagulation) of the intended target.
🟤 Melanin = Browns. This includes sun induced pigmentation, freckles, lentigines, sunspots.
🔴 Hemoglobin = Reds. This includes visible / damaged capillaries, persistent redness, flushing.
*We recommend a skin check has taken place within 6 months of IPL treatment.

Do I need Vitamin A?
