Hi, I’m Hollie—founder of Curl Cosmetics! I started this little side hustle 18 months ago out of pure frustration. Finding quality products for my curls felt impossible, so I decided to create my own solution. What I didn’t expect was just how much I’d fall in love with building this business. But let me tell you—this journey has been far from easy. I’m a one-woman team, wearing all the hats—website design, social media, emails, customer service, product sourcing, marketing… you name it, I’m figuring it out as I go! No experience, just learning (and winging it) every single day. And Curl Cosmetics isn’t my only job. I work full-time as a Central Control Room Operator at Origin, which means commuting two hours each way to work. By the time I get home, I cook dinner for my two boys, and then I finally get to packing orders and running this business. It’s exhausting, but I love it. Curl Cosmetics is my baby, and my dream is to grow it into something bigger—maybe even open a store locally one day. More than anything, I want to create something that allows me to be home more with my boys. I just turned 40, life is busy, chaotic, and overwhelming at times… but I wouldn’t change a thing.
