Proper brow mapping is such an important part of the process when performing a brow sculpt and let me tell you why! ⬇️

It helps the brow artist to:

- Create symmetry. Ensuring both brows are balanced and proportionate to each other.

- Determines the correct start, arch and tail based on the client’s individual facial structure.

- Prevents over-waxing by giving you a precise boundary of which hairs should and shouldn’t be removed.

- Eliminates room for error.

Anyone can wax a brow and you might even do an okay job at it but I’m a firm believer that when you pay someone to do your brows, your paying for their expertise, knowledge and skill set.

I have clients who I have seen for many years and still map and draw a shape on every. single. time. I believe that this eliminates room for error AND your also providing part of a service that they cant do themself.

What’s crazzzyyyyyyy to me is that, whenever I ask a new client if they have had their brows mapped before, they almost always say “no”. What this tells me is that although there are so many brow artists out there, going the extra mile and perfecting the shape before removing anything is quite rare.
