Some things are simply worth getting behind.

This October, Mick and the EFM Kawana crew are once again getting on the bikes for the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids’ cancer.

It’s their third year taking part, and I’m incredibly proud to have Back in Action supporting them.

Because at the heart of this challenge is something pretty simple:

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

Every kilometre ridden and every dollar raised helps support childhood cancer research and gives hope to children and their families.

2 years on the Sunshine Coast and 17 years doing what I love!
Today marks 2 years since I started Back in Action Healthy Body & Spirit Massage here in Maroochydore.

When I started here, I had 15 years of massage experience behind me, but not one client on the Sunshine Coast.
I was literally starting again from scratch, and it was scary...

I remember looking at my booking system often just hoping people would find me, racing down to the beach and popping up my A-frame sign in the early hours of the day (before taking my border collies for a walk) and over time with consistency … people came. Then they came back. They brought partners, family and friends.

I was recommended to workmates who passed my name on to other people who needed some help.
Two years later, I'm looking at a very different booking system, along with 75 Google reviews and a 5.0 rating, and I genuinely can't thank you enough.

After 17 years, I still love what I do. I love figuring out what's going on with someone's body, finding those areas that aren't always obvious, having people walk out feeling a whole lot better than when you walked in.

Just to mark the occasion, I have also moved rooms!
You'll now find me in Room 5 at Health on Sixth - www.healthonsixth.com.au instead of Room 2.
It's the same place I've literally just slid sideways down the hallway.

I'm really proud of what I've managed to build here over the last two years, especially knowing where I started.
But I couldn't have done it without all of you who have booked, rebooked, recommended me and trusted me to look after you.

WHY DOES THE SAME TIGHT SPOT KEEP COMING BACK?

Sometimes the area that hurts isn't actually where the problem started.
