Allergenic Skin has its own character - flare-ups can come in waves and redness can happen at anytime.

Most people would think acne and redness can all be handled by the right ingredients (usually strong ingredients). But having allergenic skin taught me that is not always the solution. In fact, strong ingredients can make the skin worse due to its sensitivity.

What I have learnt is that, working with our skin and working out our skin triggers are more important. This way, we can avoid using or eating things that our body and skin doesn't agree with and give our skin time to recover naturally.

This is the exact reason why I have created the restoring face mask. It's not meant to give me perfect skin and it's not meant to cure my skin. It is formulated to calm my skin irritations whenever I have them and nourish my skin to ease my skin dryness.

So don't let anyone tell you that you are the sole reason for your skin irritations and acne. Sometimes, there are other factors outside of our control.

Take your time to learn your skin and be patient. Work with your skin and be gentle towards your skin and yourself.

Hope you embrace your real skin always and embrace who you are at all time.

Happy Saturday ❤❤ No make-up and loving my real skin with textures and all.

It has been a journey to calm my irritated skin. Now it's happy and my scars are healing well. I know that it might flair up again. But even if it does, I am comforted to know that my restoring face mask will work hard to calm it again.

I love my skin with scars and all. It's a living and breathing organ. I preferred to take care of it than trying to make it look perfect. Because who we are is perfectly imperfect.

FAQ time!! 🤓

Many people asked how often I would use the mask. So here is my answer 😊, it depends on how my skin is feeling. If it's angry and irritated, then I would use the mask daily to calm my skin. Then once my skin is happy, I would space it out to every other day or twice a week.

There isn't a specific rule as to how often we should use a mask. It's all depending on how our skin is feeling from day to day.

Check in with your skin before your skincare routine can help you decide what it needs 😊

It's Thursday! One more day until the weekend 🕶 I am already day dreaming about my last weekend.
