It’s weird seeing yourself playback on a screen. But it was an awesome experience with .nurse.storm for the latest webinar. .au. Always fun working with this lot.

Taking a moment to reflect and respect the sacrifices made by ordinary Australians in extraordinary times for a cause greater than themselves. Our time in Gallipoli was special. Lest we Forget.

Appreciate the opportunity to learn from .van.eijk

The workshop challenged my thinking around skin treatment and elevated the way I approach teaching in clinic.

High-level education always raises the bar. Looking forward to future courses and content

A shout-out to my daughter. You’ve completed your second degree today. Grinding it out and showing up through blood, sweat and a lot of tears. You continue to make me proud when you show up everyday. You are beauty, self love, self respect, resilience, fierce loyalty, love and family epitomised. 🤍

When seeking a medical aesthetic treatment, PLEASE do your research. In light of negative publicity regarding unregulated medical treatments in our industry, I thought I’d take a moment to share my thoughts. These procedures are NOT beauty treatments. A ‘facial’ or a manicure is a beauty treatment. A medical aesthetic procedure should be carried out by a certified registered medical professional with extensive medical experience. There will ALWAYS be those in our industry who like to cut corners, do the wrong thing, and chase a quick buck at the patients’ expense. There will ALWAYS be customers who chase the cheapest deal and ultimately put themselves at unnecessary risk. The TGA is the regulatory body that oversees products and devices for therapeutic use in Australia. It has one of the highest standards in the world. For good reason. In addition; Information about your chosen provider can be found on AHPRA by simply typing in the search engine on their website. The CNA (Cosmetic Nurses Association) provides information to those practitioners to develop Best Practice Standards that provide training and education pathways to advance the skills, expertise and safety practices of Cosmetic Nurses. It is my hope that when I am educating medical professionals, that they continue to carry out aesthetic treatments that are optimised for their patients safety. Rant over. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
