Coming back from a few months travelling, discovering other cultures, meeting inspiring people. My head is full of new projects and objectives.

Introducing the soap making workshop was a beautiful experience. The workshop is a full course in 3 steps. Soap making, marketing and small business development.

This week we looked for ingredients and tools to make the soaps and it was not that easy. We couldn’t find a thermometer and we are not sure that the mixer will work in the shelter as we are powered by solar panels. And finding a manual mixer that will not break after one use is not simple. I’m learning how to adjust and adapt. I’m so grateful to be surrounded by an amazing team at the shelter and to meet all these kind and welcoming people from Naivasha - Kenya.

Life is not black or white, it’s multicoloured… actually in Kenya 🇰🇪 to share my knowledge on soap making techniques and small business development to the women of Agatha Amani Shelter. Agatha Amani House is a safe home for women and children victim of domestic and sexual abuses. Women can stay for a long period of time to learn new life and business skills that will help them be self sufficient when ready to leave the shelter.

Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed. 🌿
