Enlarged Earlobe Repair Under Local Anaesthesia

This patient was pursuing a military career, and as part of the medical assessment, the enlarged earring hole needed to be repaired.

Enlarged or stretched earring holes are a common problem and can occur after years of wearing heavy earrings or following trauma. Fortunately, they can usually be repaired with a straightforward procedure performed under local anaesthesia.

The procedure is completed in our clinic, with meticulous suturing to achieve the best possible cosmetic result. Patients can return home shortly afterwards, and once the earlobe has fully healed, re-piercing can usually be considered if desired.

This patient presented wanting to remove what she thought was a mole on her right upper lip. On examination, the lesion was found to be a skin wart (seborrhoeic keratosis) rather than a mole.

The lesion was removed in a single treatment using our advanced CO₂ laser technique. These photos were taken 6 weeks after treatment.

There is still a small amount of redness at the treatment site, which is a normal part of the healing process. This will continue to fade over the coming weeks, and in most patients the final scar is barely perceptible.

Every skin lesion should be carefully assessed before treatment, as not every raised lesion is a mole. Accurate diagnosis helps determine the most appropriate treatment and expected cosmetic outcome.

Before and After Lower Blepharoplasty (Scarless Technique)

These before and after photographs were taken 6 weeks following scarless lower blepharoplasty, performed by Dr Peter Kim under local anaesthesia.

This patient had prominent bags under her eyes that made her appear older and constantly tired. She wanted a natural-looking result but did not want an external skin incision that would reveal she had undergone lower eyelid surgery.

Using Dr Peter Kim's scarless transconjunctival technique, the eye bags were removed through an incision on the inside of the lower eyelid, leaving no visible external scar. The result is a smoother lower eyelid contour while preserving a natural appearance.

All procedures were performed comfortably under local anaesthesia, allowing the patient to return home the same day without the need for general anaesthesia or hospital admission.
