Summer is in full swing and we are loving the longer, warmer, and sun filled days!

Whether you are on vacation or just down at your local beach, it’s still important to care for your new brows when outdoors in the sun.
We want our new brows to last as long as possible, so here a few reminders of how you can take care of them!

1. Direct sunlight may cause the pigment to fade so don’t forget to apply sunscreen/ SPF onto your new brows.
2. Wear a large brim hat and sunglasses for the added protection ;)
3. Chlorine and saltwater may also cause the pigment to fade, so wash your face with fresh water afterward.
4. Water on the skin acts like a magnifying glass for sun rays so make sure to dry your brows off well afterward.

In order to achieve the best results, its important to understand the importance of a touch-up. Think of the cosmetic brow tattoo as a 2-step process. The two go hand in hand.
Based on different skin types, everybody’s retention and skin heals differently and some clients might notice gaps and irregularities after the brows are healed.
Sometimes it may heal uneven or patchy as some of the pigment could come off prematurely with the scabs.

That is why the touchup is there to correct all the possible imperfections. Its purpose is to fix what may have gotten messed up during the initial healing period.
