I'm incredibly honoured to share that I've been appointed to the Clinical Governance Committee.

This appointment is a privilege and an opportunity to contribute to a profession I'm deeply passionate about. Throughout my career, I've been committed to ethical practice, evidence based care, continuous learning and achieving the highest standards for our patients.

Retinoid + sunscreen = pigmentation improvement

Retinoids work by increasing cellular turnover and regulating melanocyte activity, helping to gradually reduce uneven pigmentation.

But without daily photoprotection, results are limited.
UV exposure is the primary driver of pigment recurrence.

Together:
— Retinoid → corrects + normalises pigment production
— Sunscreen → prevents further stimulation + protects results
This is why consistency matters more than intensity.

Every treatment plan considers: Structure, movement and
muscle activity.

The upper face is driven by a balance of opposing muscle groups — constantly lifting, lowering, and expressing.

Frontalis: lifts the brows
Corrugator: draws them inward
Procerus: pulls down through the centre

Over time, repeated movement creates visible patterns including: horizontal lines, frown lines and changes in brow position
