What is Loban?
Loban is the dark fragrant balsamic resin obtained from certain species of trees. Loban on its own are always as a crystal and are often burned in places of worship either in temples, houses or different mosques depending on the location. The odor of loban is quite heavy and in most cases vanilla and almost ice cream like. Longevity on this attar is off the chart and projection more than average. Its only on rare times that I am able to provide such an exotic scent at such an affordable price point!

Saffron attar is one of the most expensive perfume oils, manufactured from saffron leaves and a base of pure, high-grade sandalwood oil. It's a little wild, a little tame, and oh so powerful. The perfume of saffron attar is rich, warm, exotic, and indulgent. Warm thoughts towards one another emerged as a result of the attar's fragrance. This excellent attar has a scent that is extremely similar to pure saffron water. Saffron is an excellent heart medicine, and its scent in incense has long been employed for its heart-opening and compassion-enhancing properties.

On skin, it would start of with the beautiful saffron top notes which is subtle yet so powerful. Within 1-2 hours depending on skin, it would move towards it mid and base notes whose characteristics are borrowed from the beautiful sandalwood oil we got our hands on from Kannuaj India. The Result is a creamy, woody and zhen sort of characteric that is something we believe is a concoction from heaven. The scent trail left by this attar is exceptional and something we are extremely proud to offer at our store.

Introducing our Patchouli Attar.

Patchouli has been one of our favorite ingredient. The earthiness with a citrus nuances at top is just wow. We have looked far and wide to source some of the best patchouli oils but most of them more or less smell quite the same. This stopped when we acquired a beautiful vintage patchouli from 2015 which I believed has reached the pinnacle in our arsenal. The earthy punch is stronger and last way longer than normal patchouli essential oils.

We tried experimenting with different varieties of oil as carrier. We have tested sandalwood Indonesian, Indian and also common oils such as fractioned coconut to see which would be best. Our goal was to minimize the addition of extra scent aromas and showcase our patchouli oil. We have finally decided to go along with a sandalwood oil we acquired also from kannauj which is very subtle allowing the patchouli to shine and furthermore providing a creamy woody facet in base. One first swipe on skin, the aroma of this premium perfumed oil, would bliss the entire room and sometimes we are actually astonished that something like this is possible with just 2 ingredients in a blend without the use of any fixative or blenders. The aroma starts of spicy, smoky almost like a sweetened campfire which moves to its mid and base pretty quickly. Here all you get is the beautiful smokiness of the patchouli with the creamyness of the sandalwood which transports you to the dense amazon forest and is a bliss to experience the zhen.
