This one’s a little emotional…

Spent the past few days feeling sooo incredibly anxious & heavy and I couldn’t quite put my finger on why & today it hit me that this time last year to the day I quite literally started the most life changing project of my life & I probably felt exactly the same way in that moment… the universe has a funny way of kicking your ass and forcing you to slow down for a minute 🤣

Me a 24 year old and the 111 year old brick and mortar I somehow saw potential in????

Can honestly say in the last year I haven’t once stopped to think about what I’ve actually done. I’ve been so focused on trying to grow, the next bill, bringing the experience I envisioned for the space into every appointment & all the other stuff that comes with running a salon.

I’ve given up holidays (a massive hit for me guys I don’t usually stick around more then a few months… maybe that’s why I’m going stir crazy 🤣), taken on a whole lot of debt, poured pretty much everything into this space and spent the last year figuring it all out as I went.

People constantly tell me how incredible it is that I’ve done all of this so young and I’ve always just brushed it off because to me I wouldn’t expect anything less of myself but looking back at these before & afters a year on… I think I’m finally starting to understand why everyone keeps saying it.

A whole year since the renos began! Still so much growth to come but pretty proud of how far it’s come & the people I get to share it with 💛
