Microneedling isn’t one-size-fits-all ✨

The depth we work at depends entirely on your skin, your concerns and the area being treated.

For most treatments, we don’t need to go above 1.5mm - but in some cases, such as deeper scarring or stretch marks, depths of 2–2.5mm may be considered.

Deeper doesn’t automatically mean better. It’s all about choosing the right depth for your skin and your goals 🤍

Every treatment should be tailored to you following a full skin assessment.

If you have spring events coming up, now is the time to plan your skin.

Not because everything needs to be intense.

But because skin responds best when it has time.

A good event plan might include:
- reviewing your current routine
- calming irritation
- supporting hydration
- planning facials around your calendar
- avoiding last minute changes

Monday was spent at the Fresh Summit in Coogee at the gorgeous new InterContinental.

The morning was all things business and marketing, including some brilliant insights from , before spending the afternoon getting hands-on, learning about new products and taking a deeper dive into some of the products and treatments we already know and love in clinic.

One of my favourite things about this industry is that there is always more to learn. New research, new techniques, new products and different ways of thinking about how we can continue to improve what we do for our clients.

It was also so lovely catching up with some of the incredible brands and partners we work with at ABE, including , and Advanced Skin Technology, as well as the teams behind SkinPen and BIOJUVE 🤍

A very full 12 hours, lots of notes in my phone and plenty to bring back to the clinic.
