Talk of a new term is most likely swirling now, and we know that this change can really cause worry and stress for your teen. We spoke to a member of our community, a graduate from the BRIT school, for her advice on getting back into a routine.

Here’s the back to school checklist, from a teen student!

- Skincare and simple makeup – a confidence boost and the skin protection they need
- 8-10 hours sleep – the recommended amount, without the late-night doom scrolling. No more falling asleep at breakfast!
- 2-3 litres of water – stay hydrated, stay focused, keep their skin happy
- Set realistic goals – whether revision based or personal, this will help to keep motivated
- Balance is key – prevent burnout by eating well, studying hard and getting enough rest, but also taking breaks and having fun!
- Move the body – a little exercise, no matter how that looks, can go a long way for mental as well as physical health!
